As the TMS Applications Manager, Michael is responsible for ensuring that TLI’s transportation software operates efficiently while providing users and clients with the most accurate data. Michael has been in the logistics industry for over 20 years with his first “real” job being in 1996 as a freight router for a large freight forwarder based in Chicago. After having the opportunity to work with the companies IT team he realized the benefits that software development and computer networking can bring to the industry. He joined TLI in 2006 and over the years has worked in every position from data entry to production manager, while finding ways to implement new technologies as they came along.
Michael has earned industry certifications in Transportation Contact Law (SMC3), Freight Classification (NMFTA), and as a Certified Transportation Broker (TIA). He holds a BS degree with a major in Computer Information Systems from Middle Tennessee State University with a minor in Business Administration, where he graduated Cum Laude.
